Huzzah! It’s the time of year once again when we look ahead to the NFL draft and dream of whom our favorite teams may add who may propel them toward a successful future. Optimism runs high as always; but the excitement isn’t the best part of the entry draft - the names of the prospects are.
South Stands Denver is pleased to announce that we're growing! After nearly a decade of podcasting we have added the first new member to our crew. He's Brandon Perna of That's Good Sports fame. Brandon is a very funny and creative dude whose takes on Denver sports and media will welcomed by our listeners. Addidionally, Brandon is an experienced videographer. He is going to bring the show to life with the power of moving pictures!
From now on the South Stands Denver Fancast will be known as South Stands LIVE and it will be live streamed on YouTube and on Facebook Live. Podcast devotees need not worry, though. The traditional audio version of the show will still appear on this site, on Itunes and on Stitcher radio. For the time being the archived video of the show will appear at That's Good Sports as well as on a soon-to-be-redesigned South Stands Denver dot com.
We're excited and we hope you will be as well.

"And what a time period it was! In 2004 the University of Colorado was battling a title IX lawsuit which alleged that the school knew about but ignored sexual misconduct and fostered an environment that led to rape. Salacious accusations of every kind were flying, including those that recruiters used prostitutes to attract players into the program. "
"When it comes to determining our radio habits, though, one bizarrely antiquated system holds a monopoly. Neilsen Audio, formerly known as “Arbitron” uses a random sampling of scarcely-compensated people in every major market"
2016 has been an awful year for celebrity deaths but the sports fans of Denver would probably be cool with one more if it happened to be Drew Soicher's career at channel 9 that perished right before the new year.
